This experience invites you to witness the sunset from the heights of the Vizcachas range, a privileged spot to watch the sun disappear behind the hills and the ocean, painting the sky in hues of orange, pink, and violet. It’s a gentle route, designed to be walked slowly and in silence, allowing for a deep connection with nature at the end of the day.

Difficulty: Medium - High (steady ascent, loose terrain in some sections).

General Overview:
Cerro Mauco, located north of Concón and bordering Quintero, offers a unique experience for lovers of coastal landscapes from above. This low to moderate difficulty hike takes you through sclerophyll forests, coastal shrublands, and rocky areas to a natural viewpoint where you can admire a golden sunset over the Pacific. On clear days, you'll have views of wetlands, the coast, and even Mount Aconcagua.
Experience Details:
Location: Cerro Mauco, Concón, Valparaíso Region.
Altitude: ~860 meters above sea level.
Difficulty: Moderate (sections of steep trail and sun exposure).
Ideal Season: Year-round (avoid peak heat in summer).
